Take me seriously people… these actually taste like buffalo wings.
Crispy on the outside; juicy on the inside. Just all sorts of perfect.
Ingredients:
1 medium head cauliflower, chopped into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup gluten-free all purpose flour
1/2 cup water
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp Earth Balance olive oil spread (this is a butter replacement, but you could also use real butter)
2/3 cup hot sauce (I like Frank’s)
Instructions:
1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix flour, water, garlic powder, and salt.
2. Toss cauliflower into batter, making sure to coat each piece completely, then place battered cauliflower on a nonstick baking sheet.
3. Bake for 15 minutes at 450°F.
4. In the meantime, mix melted olive oil spread and hot sauce in a separate bowl.
5. Remove cauliflower from the oven and gently toss it in the hot sauce mixture.
6. Place back on the baking sheet and cook for an additional 25 minutes at 450°F, or until crispy.
7. Let cool for 5-10 minutes, then serve and enjoy!
P.S. Sautéed okra pairs really well with this recipe (as seen in picture).
