I love that cute and comfortable scrubs are becoming a thing. Out with the old and frumpy, in with the new fitted, active-wear scrubs! When Maevn contacted me about trying out their EON Collection scrubs, I of course agreed. So, here’s my honest opinion.
EON ACTIVE SPORTY MESH PANEL TOP
Before I even tried these on, I noticed the quality of the material. It’s super smooth – almost silky – but thick and durable. Oh and it’s moisture-wicking, which kept me nice and dry when running around on my feet all day. This top has mesh panels on the side and one on the upper back. On the right mesh panel, there is a small zipper pocket that is perfect for a credit card or a little cash. The left mesh panel also has a pocket, but no zipper. The two curved front pockets are about as big as my outstretched hand – I was able to comfortably fit my keys in one of them (my keys are massive, btw.. I’ve got pepper spray and a few key chains hanging off of them 😂). The pockets are curved, which I was initially a little wary about because I thought things would fall out, but my keys were perfectly snug and safe all day.
EON PURE YOGA 7-POCKET SCRUB PANT
These pants are made out of the same material as the top, and they have matching mesh panels on both sides which match up perfectly when worn together. None of the mesh (on any piece) is see through – just enough to breathe. The full elastic yoga waistband on these is super comfortable, though they are pretty high-rise. Personally, I like high-rise pants, but I know that can be a no-go for some. As for sizing, they ran completely true to size for me. Plus, they fit my butt! I have the typical fit-girl/curvy-girl problem when shopping for pants – they either fit my butt or my waist, but never both – and though the waist band was a tiny bit big, they fit very well! I wear the tall pants, and they were perfectly long enough for my 5’8 self.
EON BACK MESH PANEL SHAPED V-NECK TOP
This top is made of the same fabric as all the other pieces I received (love it – super soft and cool). There is a mesh panel on the upper back, but not on the sides. It’s fitted so nice, with “darts” on the back for added shape. I like this because as I mentioned earlier, I’ve got some curves, and big baggy clothing makes me look just that – big and baggy. This top made me feel feminine. There is a utility loop in the left pocket, which would be perfect to clip on a badge, key ring, pen, etc. The right side has two pockets (kind of a pocket within a pocket sort of thing), which is super handy! I kept my credit card in the smaller one, and my keys in the larger one.
EON WAISTBAND 7-POCKET CARGO PANT
Ok, these are my favorite of all four items. That waistband though 😍 – full elastic waistband with a drawstring. These pants are pretty straight-legged, with little side-vent slits at the bottom. As for the fit (the most important part for me), these fit even better than the yoga pant! The waistband keeps them tight around my waist, while the rest fits my butt perfectly (can you tell this is important to me? 😂) I’d suggest going with these if you struggle with the fit/curvy-girl problems like me. Oh and I can’t forget about all the dang pockets. So many pockets. And they are wonderful because they don’t make the pants look bulky, which is pretty hard to do in my opinion.
